TANGO CAFÉ NOW OPEN

HURLEYVILLE, June 2022 — Hurleyville’s newest and most exciting Main Street eatery is now open for lunch and dinner.
The Tango Café, located at the rear of the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre at 221 Main Street, held its grand opening on Saturday, May 21 and will now be serving lunch on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner on Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 10 p.m.
The menu features “contemporary comfort food” prepared by Chef Jonathan Martinez using locally sourced organic products whenever possible.
Some of the items on the current Tango Café menu include a chopped Cobb Salad with corn, eggs, bacon, tomatoes, onions, and bleu cheese dressing; baked panko crusted mac & cheese, and a grilled skirt steak served with broccoli rabe, rainbow carrots, and steak fries. Prices for those and other dishes range from $15 to $28.
Bar Bites are also available, ranging in price from $10 to $15, and include roasted eggplant dip, pimento cheese spread with pickled onions, jalapenos, and toasted crostini, Old Bay crispy fried shrimp with garlic spinach aioli and lemon wedges, and “loaded nachos.”
There is also a scrumptious Bison Chipotle Burger with a choice of Swiss or Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, served on a brioche bun. The burger comes with steak fries for $19.
